Nanosecond lasers, femtosecond lasers and picosecond lasers are all kinds of lasers, and the difference between them lies in the difference in pulse width. Specifically:
1. Nanosecond laser: The pulse width of sodium second laser is about 10^-9 seconds (i.e. nanoseconds). This laser is usually used to measure time, frequency and distance.
2. Femtosecond laser: The pulse width of the femtosecond laser is about 10^-15 seconds (i.e. femtosecond). This kind of laser is more powerful than sodium second laser. It can be used in cutting, marking, punching and other material processing fields, and can also be used for research in medicine, biology and other fields.
3. Picosecond laser: The pulse width of the picosecond laser is about 10^-12 seconds (i.e. picosecond). This laser is more refined than femtosecond lasers and can be used for more fine material processing and research in medicine, biology and other fields.
In general, the difference between these three lasers lies in the difference in pulse width, which leads to different application fields and uses.
ultrafast laser source with high laser emission frequency and lower marking heat effect used in applications requiring high precision and minimal thermal effects, such as micromachining, medical
treatments , special on medical industry which can pass the salt sparying testing ,can acheived black marking .
ultrafast lasers are defined by their pulse duration (picoseconds laser/ nanosecond laser/ femtoseconds laser ),
