Supporting materials:Metal stainless steel S316/ S304/ titanium
Laser welding equipment utilizes a high-energy laser beam that is focused to rapidly melt the insulating cup material, enabling efficient welding. This welding method offers advantages such as high welding speed, excellent welding quality, and a small heat-affected zone, ultimately improving production efficiency and reducing manufacturing costs.

Laser seal welding metal on metal pipe metal cup suit for titanium
1. Inner Tank Vertical Straight Seam Welding
The sheet metal is rolled into a cylinder, and a weld is applied vertically to form the inner tank body.
Location: Vertically along the inner wall of the inner tank
Function: To roll the stainless steel sheet into a cylinder
2. Inner Bottom Circumferential Weld
Circumferential weld between the inner tank body and the inner tank bottom cover; a circular weld seam is visible inside the inner tank.
Location: Around the inner bottom surface of the inner tank
Function: Seals the inner tank to hold water; if this weld leaks, the cup will leak directly
Process Key Points: Thin-walled (0.35–0.4 mm), laser circumferential welding; helium leak testing is mandatory
3.Mouth/Neck Weld (Most Important Weld)
The upper edge of the inner liner is welded to the upper edge of the outer shell, joining the inner and outer liners into a single unit and sealing the upper part of the vacuum chamber.
Location: At the rim of the cup, beneath the lid, where the inner and outer layers meet
Function: The sole sealing weld at the top of the vacuum chamber; even a microscopic leak will cause the vacuum to fail, resulting in a complete loss of thermal insulation
Characteristics: A circular weld bead is visible to the naked eye from the inside of the cup rim; the weld must be smooth and free of notches; laser welding causes less distortion and discoloration than TIG welding, requiring minimal grinding
4. Outer Bottom Weld
Welding of the outer shell body to the outer bottom cover; the weld around the very bottom of the cup
Location: Around the outer edge of the bottom of the cup; a circular weld visible from the outside
Function: Seals the bottom of the vacuum chamber and ensures the outer shell is airtight
5. Vacuum Evacuation Sealing (Evacuation Port Seal, Tail-Type / Tailless Vacuum)
Tail-Type Vacuum: A small metal tube protrudes from the bottom; after vacuum evacuation, the tube is clamped, sheared, and welded to seal the package. It has a metal tail that must be covered by the bottom cap. It is prone to damage and air leaks from impacts and is an older process.
Tailless vacuum: A small hole in the center of the outer bottom cover plate; after evacuation, the seal is fused at high temperature, with no metal tail; currently the mainstream export standard; there is a small dot on the bottom surface, protected by a bottom sticker; removing the sticker can easily damage the seal point, causing a vacuum leak.
